Fall Spiced Toddy

What you need

6 whole cloves
4 allspice berries
3 cinnamon sticks
1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
2 cups of ice cubes
2 orange slices

How to prepare


  1. Pour hot coffee into a small saucepan set over medium heat. Add cloves, allspice berries, 1 cinnamon stick and nutmeg. Bring to simmer, cover and remove from heat.
  2.  Let stand until room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to 12 hours (spice flavour will become more intense the longer it chills).
  3. Strain and discard solids. Fill two large glasses with ice, pour chilled coffee over ice. Garnish each glass with a cinnamon stick and orange slice.
  4. Serve and enjoy.
