VIA Instant® Horchata Smoothie
What you need
How to prepare
- Soak rice in water overnight (or for at least 1 hour)
- Add the rice and its soaking water to a blender, along with the vanilla, cinnamon, sugar, and Starbucks® Via® Instant Italian Roast. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the blended mixture into a storage container and stir in the milk.
- Cover the container and chill the mixture completely (overnight is fine).
- When you are ready to serve the horchata, pour it into a serving pitcher, leaving any sediment behind.
For extra presentation points, garnish your glasses with an orange rind. For a variation, you can substitute milk for chocolate milk.
